The Tauranga Golf Course has an area of approximately 45 hectares, and is a Par 71 measuring 5617m from the back tees with a NZCR of 68.80 and a Slope of 117. The greens are sand amended and their grass species composition is poa annua and browntop mix. Fairways comprise poa annua, fescue, browntop and Windsor Green and the rough is generally a rye, browntop and fescue mix.
