Visitors have often described Cheviot Golf Club as "the best country course in North Canterbury". Ninety minutes from Christchurch and 5km west of the township, this 12-hole course is beautifully maintained, with tree-lined fairways and views of the Seaward Kaikoura Mountains from several holes. The club has been featured as a "Country Gem" in The Cut magazine. Summer is our off-season and you're likely to be the only person on the course.

The course is situated five minutes west of Cheviot township. It is 90 minutes (120km) north of Christchurch or 55 minutes (55km) south of Kaikoura off State Highway 1.

This unique 12-hole course is set on flat land with views to the Kaikoura Mountains. It is beautifully landscaped, with many trees and a small stream running through it, which comes into play on several holes. The clubhouse can be hired for groups or promotional activities.
