Akaroa is a scenic FULL 18 HOLE golf course, (with 9 & 12 hole options), set on undulating country at the head of the Akaroa Harbour, a 1 and 1/4 hours drive from Christchurch. There are stunning harbour, sea and country views from all around this challenging course. While a relatively short 18 hole course by modern day standards, don’t be fooled into thinking its easy. The natural terrain and hazards require your full attention. It’s a genuine test of skill. A good score here is very satisfying. No matter what your skill level, beginner to expert you’ll enjoy Akaroa.
Visitors are welcome on course at all times. Getting on the course at a time to suit you is rarely a problem, you’ll often have the course to yourself! A simple honesty system for Green Fees exists if the office is unattended, however bookings are recommended, particularly if you require hire clubs, trundlers or ride-on carts.
Our usual office hours are Friday-Tuesday 9.00am – 3.00pm; Winter (June, July August) Mon/Friday 9am-3pm.
